The Man Behind Boggi Milano

Leading Italian menswear and lifestyle brand, Boggi Milano, recently welcomed Mr. Pietro Rizzi, Head of Boggi Milano’s Product Department, at their boutique in The Dubai Mall.

Here, I had the chance to sit down and have a little chat with the creative genius behind one of my favourite brands. All things men’s fashion, we kicked off the conversation with the Pitti Uomo topic. He took me through the good old days and how Pitti Uomo would only attract a couple hundred people, mostly tailors from Naples gathering to chat about materials and new techniques, to where it is now: a bunch of peacocks wanting their picture taken.

We went through the majority of the new collection, including incredible new materials, patterns and cuts. Though my favourite had to be a light grew window panel tweed suit that I cannot wait to share with you on the blog in the next couple of weeks as I work closely with the brand on an exciting project.

After squeezing it out of him, Mr. Rizzi admitted his favourite piece from this season’s collection would have to be the three-piece suit. Representing charisma, elegance and pure class, it’s his go to garment when making a statement.

As for next season, Mr. Rizzi wants to experiment with new materials and colours, as well as focus on some schmick double breasted coats…my favourite!

Be sure to head to your nearest Boggi Milano store and check out the sartorial new collection.
