After an incredible three hour drive, we discovered a secret paradise in the world’s largest uninterrupted sand desert. It was magical, like a mirage among the dunes. It was the Anantara Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort.
Along the way, we made a few pit stops to capture the breathtaking golden sand dunes. Before we knew it, we had arrived at our destination for the weekend, where we would be doing nothing but sit back and relax.
Here are a few pictures I snapped around the gorgeous resort that will aid in providing you with a more clear picture of how insane this place really is:
To top off the weekend, the hotel had me booked in for an hour long muscle relaxing spa session. After weeks of traveling across Europe with thirty kilo-plus luggage, this is exactly what I needed to release the tension hammering my bag. You can advice your masseuse on the level of intensity you would like during the massage. For me, it was full throttle!
Having relaxed, tanned and roamed around the property, it was time to eat. We dined at the delicious Suhail restaurant located in the middle of the resort. My favourite from the night was definitely the seafood that I highly recommend. The staff and waiters were very welcoming and were helpful enough to recommended a few starters of their choice.
The rooms were enormous with an even bigger balcony overlooking the beautiful desert. At around sunset, you’re presented with one of the most magical signs ever. Make sure you catch it!
If you want to get away for the weekend, I highly suggest paying the incredibly hospitable staff at Anantara Qasr Al Sarab resort a visit. They made is feel at home and insured our experience was five star.
