Four years ago, before embarking on my first Pitti Uomo experience, I was in dire need of a thick sartorial coat that would keep me warm during the Florentine winter. After visiting a number of boutiques, I finally walked out with a gorgeous double-breasted Hardy Amies coat, which in fact became the first coat I ever owned.
Earlier this month, I got my hands on another beautiful Hardy Amies coat known as the Mac. Unlike my previous double-breasted coat, the Mac is a more versatile coat that can be worn for almost every occasion.
With a 40 hour trip to Milan looming, the Mac would soon become my companion during the trip.
