This season Simon Holloway’s collection for Hogan considers the funky collision of disco, punk, rock and rap in 1980’s New York as chronicled by the downtown bible of style: Warhol’s “interview”.
Ready to Wear
From “parallel lines” to “white lines” a languid vision fusing tommy nutter inspired tuxedos and voile shirts to military surplus, to pyjamas into a louche, tailored, athletic vibe.
Julie verhoeven’s prints riff basquiat, haring and warhol scrawled over shirts, sweatshirts, suits and pyjamas.
Shoes / Accessories
Running and basketball sneakers, sporty double monk straps, kilties and tasseled slippers are given the clubby treatment in patents, animal prints and scuffed holographics.
Bags are cut in rubberized or washed leathers: sporty and scaled-up in totes, backpacks and duffles, refined and chic in portfolios and wallets, animated with verhoeven’s artfully inspired punky disco accessories.
