UAE’s celebrity RJ Kris Fade named Audi brand ambassador
Premium car manufacturer Audi has officially announced Dubai-based celebrity RJ Kris Fade as brand ambassador for the Middle East. Kris Fade will present Audi with various performances for Audi customers and fans.
Trevor Hill, Managing Director of Audi Middle East, said of the announcement: “Kris Fade embodies key attributes of the Audi brand such as sportiness, progressiveness and sophistication, which is evident in his successful radio career. We are proud to announce Kris Fade as a brand ambassador for Audi,” he said. “We look forward to working with Kris over the next year.”
Kris Fade will now drive an Audi A7. Commenting on his new role he says: “I am a passionate person. Passionate about my family, my work, my friends, my health, my life. I am passionate about the car I drive which is why I choose to drive an Audi!”
Renowned for being the emcee for some of the hottest clubs and concerts, you’ll often see Kris Fade work his magic on the mic on the stages of the world’s best venues. His experience and expertise in Radio have given him the opportunity to work on television and overseas, the privilege of interviewing and meeting some of the world’s most influential artists. He’s interviewed the likes of Ice Cube, Pussy Cat Dolls, Bob Sinclair, Flo Rida and Nelly Furtado.
A self-confessed mummy’s boy, Kris didn’t start off in radio. Kris began life in marketing but quickly realized the 9-to-5 life wasn’t for him, particularly when his boss decided to cordon him off from public view for being too talkative. Radio was clearly his calling.
He left his full-time job to drive a radio car around town four days a week for Sydney’s EDGE 96.1. Kris proved to be extremely popular in Australia, winning Best Radio Presenter at the 2007 Australian Radio Awards and the Best Radio Program in the Australia/New Zealand Urban Music Awards.
Kris moved over to Dubai in 2008 to help Kiwi Steve start up Virgin Radio Dubai. He lives with his wife Maz and baby girl.
