Melbourne Cup Wrap Up

Melbourne Cup. What a day. Even though we didn’t travel down to Melbourne for the race that stops a nation, instead we attended the next best (and accessible) thing: Royal Randwick Racecourse.

From a ‘white shoe, belt and suspender’ combination and parachute-like pants, to well-tailored navy suits and Gatsby-inspired outfits, Randwick had it all. John and I agreed to take a sip of our beer every time we saw an ill-fitted suit or a pair of white “formal” shoes…we were drunk within an hour.

All in all it was a day to remember, even though the bookies had the last laugh after I failed to win a single bet.

I was lucky enough to be exclusively dressed by Farage Australia for the big day.
