This month’s edition of my top 5 men’s fragrances features an incredible new scent by COMME des GARÇONS, as well as an old school perfume I work as a teenager that simply doesn’t get old.
1. COMME des GARÇONS Floriental
Floriental is a disrupted floral fragrance that challenges the traditions of perfumery to reimagine a flower that has no scent. A creative collision that blurs the lines between the floral and the oriental to create something completely new. An odourless flower is given life, a virtual scent imagined: enigmatic, contrasted, intense.
2. AZZARO Intense
This new release reportedly emphasizes sensuality, allure and refinement with fine ingredients and Eau de Parfum concentration. Its aromatic – woody – fougere composition opens with accords of cassia cinnamon with Laos. Vetiver from Haiti with its smoky, wet and dry, cool and warm characteristics makes a hallmark in the heart, along with brandy accord. Tonka bean from Venezuela and amber form the base.
3. Issey Miyake – Nuit D’Issey
NUIT D’ISSEY men’s fragrance with woody leather notes, born from the concept of light piercing the darkness of night. NUIT D’ISSEY PARFUM, which expresses new contrasts produced by the opposites of light and shadow, or bright and dark.
Princesse Marina de Bourbon is introducing a new aggressive and dense fragrance, for men with strong personality. A fragrance symbol of timeless elegance starting with a vibrant and fresh bergamot zest combined with a green fruity accord. The aromatic heart evolves toward the core accord: the intensity of the white woods wrapped with leather and clear amber. The unmistakable choice of modern strong characters.
One of my all time favourite fragrances! Masculine, tactile with extraordinary magnetism and, at the same time, subtly classic: like the 212 man.
