I had the amazing pleasure to meet with Karin Adcock (former powerhouse behind Pandora) and Jackie Brian (Marketing Director at House of Brands), along with Melanie Jack from Pulse Communications, on a quiet Wednesday afternoon in Sydney’s CBD to discuss all things Danish.
They introduced me to X by Trollbeads, one of seven brands under House of Brands KH, which is a new and unique jewellery concept. Designed for you to create unexpected combinations and express your own personal style – with a twist.
Karin & Jackie gave be a brief background on the history, concept and vision of X by Trollbeads, before we started having a little fun. We were given a bowl full of black “Rubber X” links, which we used to construct the main chain of our bracelet. Once the base chain was linked together, we mixed and matched from a contemporary collection of over 70 cleverly designed X Links.
The detail in some of the links was breathtaking. I spent minutes analysing every millimetre of detail the nine designers had used to create such amazing pieces. The range included symbols of love, star signs and Chinese zodiac animals.
So it’s simple, you can either create an entire bracelet from the Rubber X links with one prominent detailed link (similar to what I did) or you can create the whole bracelet from the symbol links.
